The first of my new installation pieces is based around the story of Saint Lucy.

The installation creates a dialogue between the silverpoint drawing of Lucy's eyes

on a platter and the miniature rope ladder hanging from the ceiling.

The drawing is placed well above the direct vision of the audience while the ladder hangs down from the ceiling to reach it - forging a sense that the piece is not made for ​a human audience.
